Charmaine Murray

My name is Charmaine Murray (she/her/hers), and I am from Somerset, New Jersey. I am double majoring in Communication with a concentration in Integrated Communication Strategies and Sociology with a concentration in Business & Society. I am proud to serve as the President of this chapter. On campus, I also serve as a Resident Advisor, a Shift Leader for Campus Kitchen, and the Vice President of the NPHC. Through this organization, I have learned the true meaning of sisterhood and served my community alongside like-minded women. I am honored to be a part of a lifelong community of Sorors who embody the values set by our 22 founders.

I am a currently a senior majoring in biology with a minor in spanish. I am a resident advisor in Dogwood and a video analyst for the Women’s basketball team. I’m also researching rotavirus and am looking forward to learning all I can about how it affects us. This year I look forward to helping create more programs that give back to the community as well as events that help connect people on our campus!

Hello, my name is Erica Carl and I am humbled and honored to serve as this year's Treasurer. I am a junior Sociology major with a concentration in Inequality and Social Justice with minors in Communications and School, Education, and society (SES) Pre-Law from Kannapolis, NC. On campus, I am involved in various organizations on campus most notably being a president aid, BSA Community Service chair, and an Upperclassman resident advisor. As Treasurer I am committed to continuing to cultivate the chapter, serving as a positive, transparent, and trustworthy leader, and following the tradition of making positive impacts on Wake Forest and the Winston-Salem community.

I am currently a Senior from Georgia. You may see me around campus giving tours as an Ambassador in Admissions; or working various athletic events as a Fan Experience Intern! This year, I hope to continue uplifting the Pi Omicron standards for accuracy and completion, when it comes to my role as a Recording Secretary. While also excited to gain more experience and sharpen my skills.

Hi! My name is Lillie Thornton and I am a junior majoring in psychology on the pre-med track. On campus, I am an active Hit the Bricks Executive Committee Member, a Resident Ambassador, an INVEST Health and Exercise Science Department Intern, a member of the Dean's Student Advisory Panel (DSAP), a Campus Kitchen Shift Leader, and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. As the 2023-24 Chaplain, I hope to ameliorate our chapter's sense of peace from within and within our sisterhood. As Corresponding Secretary, I hope to contribute the organization actions to help our chapter run as smooth as possible.

I am so excited to work as the Financial Secretary to ensure chapter events run smoothly and to develop my organizational skills as a member.

Hi my name is Bethany. I’m a Junior Sociology major with a concentration in Business and Society. I also have a double minor in Entrepreneurship and Marketing Communications. On campus I am a Resident Advisor, an Event and Resource manager, and I am the current Public Relations Chair for AfriCasa. This year I hope that being the internal audit chair will allow me to help my sisterhood flourish financially!
